LOST Webisodes Available Now

If February is still too far away, fans of ABCs LOST take heart - the webisodes start today! Entitled LOST: Missing Pieces, these were long planned for a mobile phone platform, but the powers-that-be decided to just release the series to the web and let everyone get a peek.
Lost: Missing Pieces are 13 two- to three-minute stories of compelling, new, never-before-seen moments from the hit television show LOST. These newly-created scenes (not deleted scenes from previous episodes) reveal answers and new details about your favorite characters. For each story, we leave it up to the fans to figure out where these pieces fit into the overall mythology. The new stories are from the same creative team responsible for the series and feature the show's main actors in stories that have all the compelling values that make LOST one of the most popular dramas on television around the world.
Anyone who's seen The Office's or Battlestar Galactica's webisodes know that the medium is a pretty mixed bag - I'm just saying don't expect chills running down your spine. Still, it's great that they actually use the real characters and actors, and not just "Random plane crash victim #14 who you've never seen because he was always out picking fruit or something during important scenes." The first episode, The Watch, is up right now and features Jack (Matthew Fox) and his father on a beach, being all WASPy. Which beach? You'll have to watch to find out.

Unimpressed. Jack throws stones on a beach? Likely outside the hotel Matthew Fox is staying at? Meh.
