Third Season Of Dexter Rises To The Surface

dexter.jpg

Wow, finally some good television news in the wake of all this strike related sadness. At last night's Evening with Dexter, an event which included a preview screening of this Sunday's episode and a chat with the show's cast and crew, Showtime Networks President Robert Greenblatt was asked point blank about whether or not we should expect a third season of the show. His response?

Yes!

Now, that's not a huge surprise, seeing as it's pretty much Showtime's signature show (along with Weeds), and has done pretty well in the ratings, in addition to being a critical success. Still, it's always good to know!

Dexter's been one of my favorite shows since day one. The location, the direction, the voice-overs all remind me of my favorite pulp novels. It might be gay sacrilege, but I couldn't stand Michael C. Hall on Six Feet Under: As Dexter he's possibly my favorite actor on television right now. The second season is airing now on Showtime, and if you're curious, you can pick the first season up from Amazon through our store.

Yeah, third season news is awesome and is the main reason I even clicked the link but after reading how you personally hated him in six feed under is what made me respond.

YAAAA ME TOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I finished watching dexter season two now and ended up looking for other stuff Michael C. Hall was in and found out that he was in Six feet. I was incredibly hyped about it. It seemed like a darker type of show and I knew he'd play it well.

until i found out he was a fag :) nothing against gays, but just not dex, he cant be gay lol.

And girls who like girls who like stuff!
