Word on the street, and by "the street" I mean Media Takeout, is that hip-hop star turned Hollywood triple-threat (Sings! Acts! Dances!) Queen Latifah is planning to go public regarding her long-rumored homogayness.

The gossip site (seriously, could this page look any shadier?) reports that the Queen is planning to shatter her alleged glass closet by making an honest woman of her partner of several years. Working on the premise that if it's on the Internet, it must be true, I'm going to go ahead and offer the lucky couple my premature congratulations.

If they are a couple, they're a cute one, see? Hopefully, Latifah won't go the way of so many gay stars, whose aspiring-celeb lovers hopped off their mothball-scented coattails the minute they got some famousness of their own.
