50% Off Blu-rays At Amazon!!!

2001SpaceOd.jpg

Hello there dear Popsuckers, have I got an announcement for you. Come one, come all to the vast marketplace of Amazon, for a blow-out Blu-ray sale that is irresistible. That is unless you are still in standard definition. Well, there is room to grow for us all little chickadees. One day you will run with the big dogs in high definition and know why this sale is so righteous.

Amazon has slashed most of their Blu-ray prices in half for a limited time. They have a sweet selection of disks, with something for everyone.

Toot's Blu-ray picks:
Paprika: From the brilliant mind who brought you Tokyo Godfathers and Millennium Actress comes another mind-bending film. When a machine that allows therapists to enter their patient's dreams is stolen, all hell breaks loose. Only a young female therapist can stop it: Paprika.

2001: A Space Odyssey: One of the all-time greatest sci-fi films ever created gets the Blu-ray treatment. Anyone who has seen this film knows how flawless it is executed by Mr. Kubrick himself. The special effects are still astounding and looks great after all these years. It is a timeless classic that just gets better after every viewing; ever changing, ever evolving, ever the mystery.

Edward Scissorhands: After the success of the original Batman, Burton was given carte blanche to create anything he wished. He reached for the stars and captured it on film. His fourth major outing is undoubtedly his greatest. Filled with a great cast and heartbreaking performances by Dianne Wiest and Johnny Depp, this is one of Burton's greatest achievements. He has made several great films since then, but he has never quite reached that perfect balance of macabre fantasy that plays like a fairy tale.

And then there's the 5 disk Bladerunner: Super Nerd Edition, but you already knew that.
