A Monument To Falco

San Francisco-based "Collaborative Production Game" SFZero is claiming responsibility for the dedication of a local staircase into a memorial for Austrian pop sensation Falco, crooner of such hits as "Rock Me Amadeus" and "Rock Me Amadeus (Extended Club Mix)."
SFZero's assignment: "Clever Vandalism." Member avidd arseloch, frustrated by the inadequacy of the small, undistinguished Falco Staircase that serves as a memorial in the singer's homeland—"Apparently [Vienna] was unable to find a street or bridge named after a dead fascist which could be rededicated," he grouses—responded by posting a small plaque on the stairs leading to Coit Tower.
The plaque reads as follows:
FALCO STAIRCASE
(Falcostiege)
The City Remembrance Society
hereby dedicates this staircase to Falco,
the most recognized Austrian composer
of the twentieth century.1957-1998
Really? The most recognized Austrian composer of the twentieth century?
"Well," said a musicologist contacted by Popsucker, "I suppose he beats Kienzl."
