John Edwards Drops Out

Poor John Edwards didn't even have a chance against the behemoths of Clinton and Obama. Being an underdog candidate was an uphill battle for Edwards, though with his second place victory in Iowa it seemed there was some hope in his camp. Unfortunately, in the next few rounds he was relegated to last place, even in his turf of South Carolina.
Clinton had this to say about Edwards:
"John Edwards ended his campaign today in the same way he started it — by standing with the people who are too often left behind and nearly always left out of our national debate,"
Which is in reference to his final speech in a still debilitated Katrina torn New Orleans.
Some of his key political points were:
-Universal health care
-Withdrawal time lines of Iraq
-Pathways for citizenship of illegal immigrants
-opposed to constitutional amendment banning same sex marriage
-Supports the repeal of the Defense of Marriage Act
Let's hope he tags on as a VP candidate with one or the Democratic Titans.
