Legal Briefs From Disney Someone Else

Here's a little intellectual property law humor for the legal eagles out there: Cory Doctorow snapped a pic of these babies on sale in a Shanghai street market. With companies spending gazillions these days to protect their intellectual property, parody is one of the few ways to legally use somebody else's logo, slogan, style, or what-have-you. Remember that Grand Theft Auto-themed Superbowl ad for Coca-Cola, where the guy was nice instead of mean? Parody.
Remember Mickey Mouse? The only parody here is the word "parody," but I'll bet that's enough.
