What? No Golden Globes?! But What About My Swag Bag?!

Along with last weekends "Stormwatch", Los Angeles has more disasters with the cancellation of the annual Golden Globes. It seems with both the threat of angry writers picketing the red carpet and more than 70 stars confirmed as no shows for self congratulatory fete has caused a collapse in the delicate award structure balance of networks, advertisers, and the Hollywood Foreign Press.

Marc Graser posts a pretty thorough report on the effects this has on the entertainment community. I sure hope they iron things out, I'm really frightened with the prospect of nothing to watch but reality show programming.
