American Social Hygiene Posters
This database of "social hygiene" posters from throughout the 20th century is just marvelous.
Take this poster warning American soldiers against the dangers of doing the nasty with "ladies of the evening." The undead personifications of Syphilis and Gonorrhea are sort of cool-looking. But can anyone tell me why "Prostitution" appears to be freakishly large in comparison to "The Young The Brave The Strong?"
