Hasbro/Universal Deal Sinks My Battleship

Hasbro Toys recently cut a deal with Universal, setting up at least four film adaptations of Hasbro properties to be produced. The list of possibilities include Magic: the Gathering, Battleship, Ouija, Stretch Armstrong, Clue, and Monopoly (to be directed by Ridley freaking Scott. Seriously?).
I don't see how most of these could conceivably be any good, with the possible exceptions of Clue (as long as they don't try to base it off of the classic 1985 film), and maybe Monopoly if Scott is really directing. Spoiler alert: Rich Uncle Pennybags is a replicant.
I mean, for real. Can you imagine a possible universe where Stretch Armstrong is a good movie? I didn't think so.

Stretch Armstrong? It'll probably be about some shlub (probably Will Ferrell, Jack Black, Eddie Murphy or Steve Carrell) who developes stretching powers, and then goes about having nutty adventures.
