A picky point, but The Eye is actually like a Hong Kong/Thai movie, not Japanese.
I'm curious if the American one does well enough if they're going to follow the same sort of baffling sequel pattern though? It went from The Eye 2, which was sort of a drama, to The Eye 10/Infinity which was sort of a morbid road-trip teen comedy. Then there's gonna be a fourth one coming out soon going back to Eye 3?
