Resistance Is Futile
I've finally done it—after all my heavyhanded political haranguing, I am literally posting propaganda for Barack Obama. But, I swear, I'm just coming at it from an aesthetic angle. I want to know, what do you think of this poster designed by that OBEY giant dude? It's hugely popular, apparently; the limited edition of lithographs sold like hotcakes (proceeds went to a large-scale postering campaign).
But I'm not sure it'll put across the message he wants it to. Isn't the whole point of the OBEY imagery that it's kinda creepy, and makes you a little nervous about authority figures? How does it promote Barack Obama to make him look like Big Brother? Is this supposed to be ironic? Is it too ironic? Or not ironic enough? People, I don't even know anymore.

Why are we using the word "progress" to describe a man who doesn't even advocate marriage equality for all Americans?
Just because he's not batshit crazy like all the Republican candidates, doesn't make him progressive.
It's true—Hillary and Obama are BOTH against gay marriage. They want civil unions for gays. Dennis Kucinich is the gay-marriage candidate.
