As cool as these mystical-looking creatures appear, it might disillusion you to know what they're actually made of.

The answer is deer butts.

"Assquatch" is a new trend of redneck folk art that you'd expect to be tacky and gross. And you'd be partially right. But come on. They're so cute! They're like cute little rejects from a Jim Henson fantasy project. Tell me that you would turn one of these little dudes down if he offered you a mysterious ancient talisman.

"No thank you, adorable fuzzy gnome. I don't feel like going on an awesome magical adventure today. Ask me tomorrow. Maybe then I will be less lame."
