Gay Robot Rebooted

Nick Swardson's risque comedy pilot sadly failed commercially in its live-action incarnation, but thanks to Internet popularity, Gay Robot may get a second chance.

A new Gay Robot pilot has been ordered by Comedy Central, and this one will be animated. It's a bit difficult to envision the show with a cartoon sensibility, but I'm all for pretty much anything starring Nick Swardson. Gay Robot is sure to elicit more than a few eyebrow-raises, but I'm pleased at the possibility of a mainstream animated show with a gay lead character...even if that character is a libidinous robot.
