Charlton Heston R.I.P.

Academy Award winning film legend Charlton Heston died at his Beverly Hills home on Saturday night with Lydia, his wife of 64 years by his side. He was 84 years old.
He had been suffering from Alzheimer's Disease for many years.
Officials nor family are releasing the official cause of death at this time.
I'm sure there are few people who don't know his name or his impact, having stared in some of Tinsel Towns most famous movies, Heston was a legend among legends. While I didn't always agree with his politics, there is no denying the man's talent and his impact on Hollywood.
Rest in Peace.

At least they'll be able to get the gun off him, now.
Rest in peace? More like "rot in Hell". I found this on the Joe.My.God blog...
...Here's a choice quote from a 1997 speech in which Heston pledges tolerance for gays one minute, then goes off the rails the next: "I find my blood pressure rising when Clinton's cultural shock troops participate in homosexual-rights fund-raisers but boycott gun-rights fund-raisers, and then claim it's time to place homosexual men in tents with Boy Scouts, and suggest that sperm donor babies born into lesbian relationships are somehow better served and more loved."
...I see no reason to feel bad that this idiot is finally in the ground.
