Descent Sequel Unearthed
A sequel to British horror flick The Descent is being produced. This is curious, since the original was made with two different endings. It sounds like this sequel will treat the North American theatrical ending as canon, and follow Sarah as she returns to the horrific cave in search of survivors of the first movie's events.
This could be sort of an off-putting experience for those like me, who have only seen the DVD version of the first one.

This is horrible. The American "cut-off" ending was so crappy.
Yes, the American ending was crappy, but I am veeerrry happy to see that one of my favourite horror movies is getting a sequel.
Let's just hope it doesn't succumb to the curse of movie sequel failures.
