Perlman Joins Hartnett, Gackt In Bunraku
The upcoming action movie Bunraku sounds awfully interesting. Ron Perlman has just recently landed the role of the villain in this stylish, Sin City-esque martial arts flick, joining cast members Josh Hartnett, Demi Moore, Woody Harrelson, and Japanese pop idol Gackt. Named after the style of traditional Japanese puppet theater, Bunraku promises to be an appealing patchwork quilt of various genres, telling the story of a drifter and a samurai who team up to battle a crime lord.
