This ad from the Rice Council of America ran in 1967, and I kind of get what they're going for here. You know, trying to persuade people that rice is healthy and good for you. And if you eat it with your steak instead of potatoes, you won't gain as much weight, I guess. But clearly, they went about it in a very, very wrong way. I mean, wow. I can't really say much more about it. It's all right there. I've got nothing to add. Some "public service!"
