Gillian Anderson is forever immortalized as The X-Files' Agent Scully, but it was recently revealed that Fox originally had a very different Anderson in mind for the role.

Could you imagine Pamela Anderson as Scully? More like XXX-Files! Am I right? What's with airplane food?

One thing's for sure, it would have been a pretty different show, if Baywatch and V.I.P. are any indication. Thankfully, Gillian snagged the part of Mulder's skeptical foil, a role she reprises in the new X-Files movie, which I unfortunately hear isn't doing too well.
