Milk Trailer
A trailer is out for Gus Van Sant's biopic of openly gay politician Harvey Milk, and to be honest, it looks much better (and more upbeat) than I expected. Check out Josh Brolin as a very sinister Dan White (Milk's eventual killer).

Heart breaking heroics. Looks like Van Sant managed to capture a beautiful yet grittier 70s-era San Fran. Still not sold on Penn as Milk. Milk was a tall guy with smarts and humor, Penn, a little guy with something to prove. But it looks like he got the humor in here, so good for him. Josh Brolin--yikes. Too real. Operatic score--hmmmm, a bit much. Although his story *has* been made into an opera, a documentary, a noise-rock band, and now a bio-pic. Wish he was alive to see it all...
