Daisies Grow In Wonderfalls

wonderfallsdaisies.jpg

Fans of the works of TV producer Bryan Fuller can look forward to a Wonderfalls crossover in an episode from the upcoming second season of Pushing Daisies. For the uninitiated: Pushing Daisies is about a guy who brings the dead back to life, and Wonderfalls is about a girl who receives precognitive messages from talking inanimate objects. So it's gonna be kinda like Heroes, but more whimsical and probably with less heads being sliced open. Get the whole scoop in this interview with Fuller himself.

I love Pushing Daisies and glad that it returned for its 2nd season pretty much with all its light-if-not-slightly-morbid humour and scooby-mystery intact.

Can't wait to see more people with strange powers. I also hope they keep it up.

The season opener's Sound of Music parody shot made me laugh till I cry.

I actually remember hearing him bring this up earlier but I'm curious exactly how much of a crossover it really could be...

For one, I'm pretty sure WB makes Pushing Daisies while Wonderfalls I think was made by Fox--and I generally thought studios don't play with each other very well?

Second, the lead of Pushing Daisies is played by the same actor who played the brother of the lead on Wonderfalls...

I remember hearing that at first he was just going to bring over the Muffin Buffalo's side character of Marie-Anne Marie Bettle so maybe that would get around both issues?

This is the first I've heard of it... be still my heart. I loved Wonderfalls so much... Even if they just tossed me a little bone in that direction I would be very, very pleased. :3

And girls who like girls who like stuff!
