Holy Weak Premises, Batman! CW Produces Graysons

The CW is producing a new pilot similar to Smallville, and which may end up replacing the teenage Superman's show. It's called The Graysons, and you guessed it, it's about Robin...before he met Batman.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Robin in his pre-Batman days sort of...um...not really worth making a show about? I mean, teenage Clark Kent at least has superpowers. A show with Dick Grayson and no crimefighting just sounds like a show about...trapeze acrobatics.

Then again, Brian Peterson, writer of But I'm a Cheerleader, is one of the showrunners, so I have to assume this might be worth watching if gets picked up.
