Star Trek: Blood And Fire - Part 1
I don't stick my head in over here at Popsucker often, but I just had to share this one. Based on a script originally written by David Gerrold for Next Generation, Blood and Fire has been adapted and filmed by the people of Star Trek: New Voyages. (a fan group that makes new classic Star Trek episodes)
Blood and Fire is about an AIDS-like disease affecting certain members of the crew, as well as a romance subplot between two male crew members. One of them Capt. Kirk's nephew! Please note there is a minor love scene in the above section, that is very tame, but nonetheless may be NSFW depending on your workplace.
Part 2 of this episode is scheduled to release in 2009.
