Dollhouse Closes Early

Things don't look too great for Dollhouse...though the show's ratings are relatively strong despite some lackluster reviews, Fox has announced that the upcoming twelfth episode, "Omega," will be the last of the season, and a remaining standalone "lost" episode will only show up on DVD (and maybe Hulu, if we're lucky?).

Let's face it, Dollhouse is no Buffy, but I still hope that this isn't a sign of Joss Whedon's baby getting the short shrift.

They better not do what they did to Firefly, cause that show deserved at least a few seasons and so does Dollhouse!

Fox always pulls this crap, it's BS. They take potentially great shows like Dollhouse and Sarah Conner Chronicles and drag them out with 35 mins of filler and 7 mins of plot, and then they wonder why people stop watching, and they cancel it. How the hell is Prison break still being made and the two great Friday night shows are getting the boot?

I actually read that season was supposed to initially end an episode earlier but the network pushed Joss to make and extra episode as an official season finale but the decision to use the extra episode got scrapped recently. Either way this doesn't sound like a good thing for Dollhouse but you never know. I also read that Fox actually is interested in giving Dollhouse a second chance next year. That news actually shocked me when I read it a few days ago. I'm hoping the show gets an opportunity to succeed but at the moment if it gets canceled I'm not heart broken ABC already broke my heart with Pushing Daisies :(

im very underwhelmed by dollhouse. it has a lot of potential, but the writing is meh, the acting is meh, and i just cant see miss cross from rushmore as the HBIC.

As much as I've been liking the Dollhouse, its still no Buffy or Angel. No even Dr. Horrible. There's no Whedon humor in it and that's what made those previous shows so perfect.

I've been watching Angel and Buffy over again and I spend much more time laughing and crying than I do in Dollhouse. I barely care about the characters on the show to be frank.
