Stereo lays an egg? Considering how "laying an egg" usually has negative connotations, I'm not really sure what Panasonic was thinking. Still, I have to say that the product is amazing. It's like something out of Logan's Run. Even if the model is giving the impression that it's some kind of hypnosis/brainwashing machine!

Just plug in your existing stereo system (although they offer some suggestions along the bottom of the ad in case you were looking to upgrade), climb in and enjoy the stereophonic sound. There's even a light if you like to read to your music. And it swivels, of course! It has to!

Personally, I prefer Model 2000, which is the larger picture. It's all enclosed. The 4000 on the right is cheaper, but it's open on the sides and has armrests, which totally ruins the sleekness of the intended egg shape. Although the ottoman is kind of cool. And if you'd rather share the experience, you can always go with the loveseat option. Looks cozy!

Also, the 2000 has the fake fur interior, which is way cooler than the 4000's vinyl. Ick. But you know how you can tell that this is the height of '70s swinger cool? Along the bottom Panasonic lets you know that Playboy Club credit Keyholders can get theirs with easy installments! Woo hoo! Party time!
